October 5th (8am-4pm) Red Dot Pistol Course

This Class is offered from 8am to 4pm. Please show up at least 30 minutes early on the day of the class.

The Red Dot Pistolero course focuses on enhancing handgun shooters’ comprehension of speed and efficiency principles with red dot equipment Optics. Participants will delve into active recoil management, refining their grip, and optimizing passive recoil management through stance and posture. The course adopts a methodical approach to onboarding new information, gradually increasing the pace as skill development understanding grows. The class concludes with dynamic man vs. man drills and the challenging Desperado Deadliest Pistolero Patch Challenge.

Equipment: 

• Quality serviceable semi-automatic handgun (red dot equipped is a requirement for the Red Dot Pistolero)
• 3 magazines minimum
• Reliable Holster - Inside the waistband (IWB) either appendix or hip carry (NO BEHIND THE BACK CARRY), duty or battle belt style setup, or USPSA gear NO BLACKHAWK SERPA HOLSTERS ALLOWED ON THE RANGE
• Magazine pouches on person for at least 1 magazine
• Ear protection
• Eye protection
• 500 Rounds of reliable ammunition (NO steel core, tracers, green tip or armor piercing)
